In Brief: We go back to Bikini Bottom in prehistoric times to see when SpongeGar and Patar discovered fire.
Story: Dawn breaks on Bikini Bottom B.C. (Before Comedy). SpongeGar's alarm clock (a rock) falls on his head and wakes him up. He puts it back up on the shelf and put his clothes on. SpongeGar takes Gary for a walk, who is the size of a dinosaur. Squoq looks out the window and sees Gary's slimy trail on his yard and sidewalk. He's about to go outside, when he remembers Gary squashing and smashing him with his huge eyeballs. Squog picks up a club and goes to yell at SpongeGar about the slime. Squog slides on the slime and crashes into Patar's rock. Patar comes out and eats some of Gary's slime. He then hugs Squoq, which almost crushes him.
Patar sees SpongeGar. After hitting themselves they hug each other. Squoq slides on Gary's slime again and crashes into a wall in his house. SpongeGar poors soap in a log and blows a big bubble. Patar claps and rain starts to fall. He claps again and the rain stops. SpongeGar does the same thing. They both start jumping up and down and clapping. Thunder and lightning start which cause SpongeGar and Patar to panic and run around in circles. Lightning strikes the log and it catches on fire.
Squoq comes out of his house to see what's going on. He puts his hand in the fire and screams out in pain. SpongeGar and Patar do the same thing, but it takes them a while to react. Patar puts salt on his burnt hand and starts to chew on it. SpongeGar throws some plants in the fire and takes them out with a stick. He eats one and jumps up and down with excitement. Squoq tries as well and he also likes it. SpongeGar, Patar, and Squoq begin to cook different things in the fire and eat them. SpongeGar shows Patar how to do it by squashing prehistoric Mr. Krabs and cooking him.
SpongeGar, Patar and Squoq lay around the fire with huge bellies because they ate so much. They all say goodnight to each other and start to go into their houses. Squoq grabs the fire and tries to take it for himself. Patar takes the log while SpongeGar and Squoq are fighting. They all set traps for each other and each tries to snatch the lighted log. As SpongeGar, Patar and Squoq are fighting over it rain comes and puts the fire out. SpongeGar and Patar begin to cry. As Squoq is about to hit them he is struck by lightning and SpongeGar and Patar use him to toast marshmallows.

Prehistoric Bikini Bottom This isn't the first episode that goes back in time. Prehistoric Bikini Bottom is also seen in "SB-129."
Ouch! SpongeGar's alarm clock is a rock that falls off a shelf and hits him in the head.
Pre-history Mr. Krabs Prehistoric Mr. Krabs is shown as a more realistic looking crab. He also mutters "money, money, money, money."
