In Brief: Mr. Krabs gives SpongeBob a pair of boots.
Story: It's Pearl's birthday and Mr. Krabs is throwing her a party. He dances around and sings her a song. After he's done he hands her a birthday present. Pearl is excited because she thinks it's the new flipper slippers that all her friends have. She opens it up and sees that they're just an old pair of black, rubber fishing boots. Pearl gets very upset and starts to cry.
At the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs is sitting at his desk with the boots wondering what to do with them. SpongeBob comes and Mr. Krabs tells him to have a seat. He can't see Mr. Krabs because the boots are in the way. Mr. Krabs tells him that these boots belong to the greatest fry cook who ever lived. SpongeBob asks what his name was. Mr. Krabs can't think fast enough and just tells him that the names not important. SpongeBob offers to give Mr. Krabs a weeks paycheck, paint the Krusty Krab and throw in a years supply of french fry oil in exchange for the boots.
While drying off a glass Squidward hears an extremely annoying squeaky noise. He looks up and notices SpongeBob wearing the boots. Squidward says that the squeaking will drive them all crazy. Mr. Krabs says that the squeaking is money to his ears.
That night Mr. Krabs can't sleep. He's dreaming about money but the squeaky boots keep popping up. A window in his bedroom won't stay closed and he keeps getting up to fix it. The next day at work he's exhausted. Squidward throws the door open hitting Mr. Krabs. He says he can't take the world's greatest fry cook anymore and he's quitting for a week. SpongeBob shows Mr. Krabs a series of tricks he can do with the boots. A customer comes to order some food. SpongeBob's boots talk and take the customer's order. Mr. Krabs runs to his office and puts cushions over his ears and bangs his head on the desk because the squeaking is so loud.
Late at night Mr. Krabs sneaks to SpongeBob's house while he's sleeping and slip the boots off of his feet. He runs back to the Krusty Krab and hides them under the floor boards. SpongeBob comes in the Krusty Krab the next day very upset that his boots have been stolen. Another customer tries to order food but Mr. Krabs feels so guilty all he can hear is squeaks. He goes crazy and runs to get the boots. He dips them in a boiling pot, causing them to shrink. Mr. Krabs then eats the boots. SpongeBob asks him why and Mr. Krabs says because he didn't need them. He then says he needs a vacation. Mr. Krabs is shown driving his boat with Pearl and pulling an RV behind him. Pearl is also wearing the new shoes she wanted. Mr. Krabs starts to hiccup and squeak.
