In Brief: SpongeBob attracts jellyfish when the wind that blows through his holes play music.

Story: There is a very bad wind storm in Bikini Bottom. Two fish are coming out of the diner with their bag of leftover food. It blows out of the woman's hand and blows all the way down to SpongeBob's house. It goes through his window and hits him in the face while he's sleeping, covering him in food. He licks it off. SpongeBob then procedes to take some and pass it out the window to give it back. It blows out of his hand and when it does SpongeBob notices the wind makes a very strange, musical noise through his holes. SpongeBob jumps out the window and starts to play a tune. A jellyfish hears the sound from Jellyfish Fields and comes to play with SpongeBob. He tries to go but many more jellyfish have become attracted to the strange music. They cover SpongeBob and tickle him. SpongeBob blows in the house and realizes he's gonna be late for work. He tries to leave again but the jellyfish pick him up and then block him from leaving.

SpongeBob decides to call Mr. Krabs for some help. He tells SpongeBob costumers are blowing in one after another and asks where he is. After hearing the situation Mr. Krabs gets an idea. He grabs a fishing rod, hooks SpongeBob at his house and reels him to the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob goes in the kitchen and dumps a box of patties onto the grill. The window blows open and blows the patties against the wall. This gives SpongeBob the idea to make the patties against the wall and let the wind blow them. As the wind continues to come in the kitchen the music from SpongeBob's holes is heard again. The sound goes out through the vent in the roof and soon jellyfish fill the kitchen. The Krusty Krab blows away leaving SpongeBob, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and the costumers to hold on for their lives. SpongeBob is blown down the street and into Patrick's rock. Patrick is watching the news where the anchor is also blown away by the strong winds. SpongeBob tries to explain to Patrick what is going on. Patrick's antenna blows off. His rock blows open and jellyfish come in. One of them stings Patrick. He kicks SpongeBob out.

SpongeBob is chased by the jellyfish into a cave. He decides to stay in there until it's safe. Later, SpongeBob is shown to have been in there long enough to grow a beard (and even hair). He carves a statue of himself out of a piece of rock. He starts to go crazy and sits the SpongeBob statue down at a table and starts to have a tea party with him. He is having a conversation with the statue about how he attracts jellyfish and asks him how he would handle it. Of course, he doesn't answer but SpongeBob thinks he does. SpongeBob takes the statue out in the wind, which plays music through his holes also. The jellyfish are confused by this. They realize it's not the real SpongeBob and find him hiding behind a rock. They shock him and he runs back into the cave. SpongeBob paces back and forth trying to come up with something. He does an equation on a chalkboard and theorizes if he makes another SpongeBob statue in a different size it might solve the problem. He's not sure what size so he makes a bunch of 'em. SpongeBob hammers, drills, grates and jack hammers.

He drags all the SpongeBob statues he has made outside and puts them in a circle. Lovely music start to play and the jellyfish love it. They dance around and go in and out of the statues. Now that the jellyfish are leaving him alone SpongeBob runs back to the Krusty Krab to go to work. To his astonishment he finds the Krusty Krab tilted and almost buried in sand. SpongeBob starts to scream and cry. 3000 years later aliens are at Jellyfish Fields looking at SpongeBob's statues. They have no idea how they got there or why or who created them. Jellyfish migrate to them every year to dance to their wonderous tune.

Quotes:

Patrick: Boring! I don't wanna watch any of this boring stuff! I wanna watch something decent like. . .

SpongeBob: Sorry, Patrick! I need a place to hide from them jellyfish!

Patrick: What jellyfish?

SpongeBob: Ever since the winds started a sound whistles through my holes that jellyfish seem to love. *Jellyfish fill Patrick's rock*

Patrick: Hey, pal. *jellyfish stings Patrick* Get outta here! Sorry, SpongeBob but you've become a negative influence!

SpongeBob: I created one stone SpongeBob that uttered a note in a bad key, but if I were to craft another in a different size the dimensions of that hollow center, multiplied by the numbers of holes may offer another tune. One that could sooth those jellyfish. But which one is the right size!? Hmm, I guess I'll just have to make a bunch of 'em.

Observations:

Episode Pairing This episode was set to premiere with "To Save a Squirrel" but aired with "20,000 Patties Under the Sea" instead.

Episode Name The name "SpongeHenge" comes from StoneHenge, an attraction in England.

Late to Work SpongeBob says that in all his years of fry cooking he has never been late, but he was a minute late in "New Digs", two minutes late in "Hooky" and fifteen minutes late in "Have You Seen This Snail".

Jellyfish Problem This isn't the first time SpongeBob has had trouble getting rid of a group of jellyfish. He had to find a way to get a bunch out of his house in "Jellyfish Jam."
