In Brief: Mr. Krabs molts his shell and can't go to his Navy reunion. SpongeBob disguises himself as Krabs with his shell and goes for him.

Story: At the Krusty Krab one day, Mr. Krabs shows SpongeBob his hiding hole under a dumpster. Inside it is a treasure chest, which he takes into his office. The chest contains all of his items from when he served in the Navy. He opens it to get out his jacket, which he is going to wear to a reunion with his Navy buddies. Krabs tells SpongeBob that his Navy nickname was 'Armor Abs Krabs' because his abs were strong and shows him a photo of all his buddies he served with.

Later, SpongeBob is working in the kitchen when he hears moaning coming from Krabs' office. He goes in and finds a fat, ugly and fleshy Mr. Krabs. It turns out Mr. Krabs molted (grew out of) his shell. Knowing that he'll look unmanly at his Navy reunion, he thinks that he can't go. Mr. Krabs kicks his shell in frustration, causing it to fly and land on SpongeBob. Seeing that SpongeBob looks like and can impersonate him well, Mr. Krabs has him go in the shell for him.

SpongeBob pretends to be Mr. Krabs at the Navy reunion, while Krabs hides in a plant to watch. The guys all think he's Mr. Krabs. He drinks and jokes with the men, and Iron Eye punches him in the 'Armor Abs.' When a Manly Toughness trophy is given to Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob has to go up and give a speech for Krabs. Acting as Krabs, SpongeBob speaks about jellyfishing and blowing bubbles. The Navy men see through this, and Torpedo Belly asks for a Belly Butt. He and SpongeBob ram their bellies, causing SpongeBob to fly through the building and his shell to break. They see Mr. Krabs isn't under the shell. Krabs comes out of the plant and admits he was hiding from them because he molted. All of his friends admit they were hiding something, too, and Krabs wasn't the only one to.

SpongeBob: All right, let's get this place ship-shape! *to something off-screen* You then, stop laying around! *cuts to a bag of potatoes*

SpongeBob: *to Krabs* Who cares how silly, pink and fleshy you look. How non-threatening, limp and soggy you are...*Krabs starts sobbing*...how...oops.

SpongeBob: *impersonating Krabs* I once won a marathon because someone dropped a penny at the finish line.

SpongeBob: *impersonating Krabs* Ooh, what's that you say? Me daughter Pearl needs an operation? *pulls out saw* I'll do it meself and save a nickel!

SpongeBob: *trying to give a speech like Krabs would* So there I was, in Jellyfish Fields.

Mr. Krabs: I'm doomed.

SpongeBob: Me supply of bubble soap was dangerously low.

Observations:

Navy Photograph In the Navy photo, Iron Eye holds a mop, Muttonchop has a wrench, Mr. Krabs has a spatula, Torpedo Belly has a torpedo lodged in him, and Lockjaw Jones leans on an anchor.

Barnacles! The word "Barnacles" is revealed to be a curse word in this episode.

No Nose Mr. Krabs has a nose whenever he's inside his shell, but not when his shell is off. His shell doesn't have its own nose.

Nose Hole When Mr. Krabs' shell is seen empty, it has a nose hole. When SpongeBob wears it, there isn't one. His nose comes out of the mouth hole.

Things Navy Men are Seen Doing at the Reunion:

SpongeBob as Krabs For a while, the former Navy members don't even recognize that SpongeBob isn't Mr. Krabs, even though his voice isn't as manly, his eyes are round instead of tall stalks, and his face is yellow.

Woman's Sound A feminine gasp is heard from the group of men when SpongeBob coughs up his skull.

Another Trophy Mr. Krabs wins another Manly Toughness trophy at the reunion. He had one in his treasure chest in the beginning of the episode.

Familiar Faces The muscular "Gold Team rules!" fish from "Pre-Hibernation Week" is seen at the reunion. Reg, from "No Weenies Allowed", is also there.
