In Brief: SpongeBob has a party and invites all his friends.

Story: SpongeBob goes shopping at Barg'N Mart. While buying a can of food he sees a Plan Your Own Party Kit and decides to throw a party. SpongeBob goes home, opens the kit and prepares for the party. He makes a very long scheduled list of how and when everything is going to be done at the party. SpongeBob has the table all set up with the snacks and refreshments.

The party is all ready to start and Patrick is the first to arrive. SpongeBob brings him a glass of punch and they chat about the weather. Mr. Krabs is the second guest. SpongeBob gets angry because Patrick and Mr. Krabs were chatting and not following the scedule. More guests show up including Sandy, Scooter, Plankton, Pearl, etc. SpongeBob hands out topic cards to everyone for discussing.

Next, SpongeBob sits everybody down and reads the newspaper comics to them. He stops and realizes that it's yesterday's paper so SpongeBob goes outside to get the new paper. While outside SpongeBob gets locked out of the house. He knocks on the door but nobody can hear him because of the loud music. SpongeBob then tries to call Patrick from a payphone but he doesn't realize it's SpongeBob. Then, SpongeBob tries to climb through an open window but Larry slams it shut before he can reach it.

SpongeBob gets frustrated and tries to break in. Suddenly, Officer Nancy and her partner pull up. They think he's trying to break in and rob the house. SpongeBob explains to them that this is his house and that he's throwing a party. They believe him and start to walk away. They turn back around and arrest SpongeBob for not inviting them to the party. When SpongeBob gets back home he grabs the key under the mat, which was there the whole time. He goes in and Patrick is still there. He tells SpongeBob it was an awesome party and he needs to throw another one next week.

Canned Food It takes SpongeBob 19 seconds to get the can of food at Barg'N Mart and it cost $1.42.

Dude Fish The "Dude Fish's" name is finally revealed in this episode. It's Scooter.

Ice Sculpture SpongeBob makes an ice sculpture of himself for the party.

Party Games Games scheduled for the party included "Pin the Tail on the Horace" and "The Electric Jitterbug."

Party Time The party starts at 8:00.

Guests SpongeBob invites 177 guests to the party, but not nearly that many were there.
