In Brief: Squidward causes SpongeBob & Patrick to stop being friends but he can't take much of it.

Story: Squidward is treating himself to a day alone with a souffle he made...or so he thinks. Outside his window, SpongeBob and Patrick are talking into their bubbles to send messages to each other. This annoys Squidward so he makes his own little bubbles from his souffle juice. After these bubble messages get to SpongeBob and Patrick, they start fighting with each other because of what each of the bubbles said. Both head into their houses.

As this is going on, Squidward is eating his souffle outside on his lawn chair and laughing. As Patrick closes his rock, Squidward begins to choke on his fork. Patrick is first on the scene to give Squidward CPR. He manages to get Squidward to spit it out and saves his life. Squidward calls him a friend. Patrick hangs out with Squidward in his house. Squidward plays the clarinet and he falls asleep.

As Squidward is pulling Patrick outside his house, his back breaks. This is SpongeBob's chance to save Squidward! He jumps off a diving board and flys straight into his back, making it all better. Squidward calls him a friend and SpongeBob goes into a trance-like moment and repeats 'friend'. Squidward knows that was a mistake to call him a friend. SpongeBob takes Squidward into the tiki house and plays the bassinet for him but it's really bad. Squidward tells SpongeBob to get out of his house and he does.

Squidward tries to think of a way to get those two back together so they don't hang around him all the time. So, he invites them to his house for a little 'tea party'. As they show up, he gets the soda pop out and fills their glasses with soda everytime it's empty. Once the soda pop is gone, he goes and gets some more. When he is gone, SpongeBob hiccups a bubble, which turns out to be a burp, and Patrick laughs at it. Both are laughing out bubbles and make Squidward's house collapse from all the bubbles. Squidward returns and finds his house a disaster and orders them out. A bubble pops in front of Squidward's door and falls over on top of him.

Squidward (bubble): Patrick, you are the dumbest idiot it has ever been my misfortune to know. *Patrick frowns then sends a bubble over to Spongebob*

Patrick (bubble): Do you really think that, Patrick?

SpongeBob: Of course, Patrick. Anyone with eyes can see that. *bubble floats over to Patrick and pops. Then another bubble floats back over to Spongebob*

Patrick: Yeah? Well I think you’re ugly. *another bubble comes over and pops* Yellow is ugly! *2 other bubbles, but smaller, floats over and pops and gives Spongebob a rasberry*

SpongeBob: Patrick, what are you talking about? *bubble floats over to Patrick. One of Squidward's bubbles floats over to Spongebob and pops*

Squidward (bubble): Spongebob, I no longer wish to know you. *Spongebob gasps* You give bottom dwellers a bad name.

Observations:

Suction Cups Squidward has 32 suction cups on his tentacles.

Key Lock As Squidward is arriving home, after leaving SpongeBob and Patrick alone, he was going to use the keys to open the door. But when he drops him after a big crash, he just opens the door without using them.
