In Brief: SpongeBob brings home a jellyfish that loves to dance.

Story: SpongeBob is jellyfishing one day and captures a jellyfish. He squeezes some jelly from it for his bread and leaves. As he walks home, the jellyfish follows him. After lots of trying to get rid of the jellyfish, SpongeBob lets it come home with him.

On their way home, SpongeBob shows Squidward the jellyfish and all the tricks and things it can do. When they arrive at the pineapple, they blast music from the stereo and dance all day and into the night. Finally, SpongeBob says it's time to go to bed, but the jellyfish keeps turning the music on because it wants to keep dancing. SpongeBob ties him up at the bed post and goes to sleep. During the middle of the night, hundreds of other jellyfish sneak into the house.

The next morning, SpongeBob discovers that his pet jellyfish is missing. Downstairs, he finds a huge amount of the creatures dancing to the music. They prevent him from turning off the music, and angry Squidward is sick of the constant noise coming from his house. Not able to contact SpongeBob on the phone, Squidward plays clarinet music from his window. In SpongeBob's house, the swarm of jellyfish react to the music negatively and go mad, stinging SpongeBob and Squidward. SpongeBob and Gary try to flee the jellyfish by hiding on the roof. When the jellyfish find them, Gary controls them by knocking his eyeballs together, creating a rhythm that they dance to. Gary keeps making the sound, and SpongeBob walks around, the jellyfish following them. A bunch of other creatures and things all make different sounds, creating a song that the jellyfish dance to. By doing this, SpongeBob successfully tames the jellyfish. Meanwhile, Squidward sits in the tub, trying to recover from his stings.

Songs: "Stadium Rave" (song playing on stereo) and "Jellyfish Jam" (song at end of episode, performed by sea creatures) - Both have no lyrics

Quotes:

SpongeBob: *calling Squidward from outside his window* Squidward! Hey, Squidward! Squidward! Squidwardy-ard!

Squidward: I wouldn't let that thing in my house even if it was potty-trained! *cuts to the jellyfish sitting on a toilet, reading a newspaper* I didn't need to see that.

Squidward: SpongeBob is the only guy I know who can have fun with a jellyfish...for twelve hours!

SpongeBob: Squidward, would it be possible to play your clarinet a little...better? I don't think the jellyfish like it.

Squidward: *after being stung by jellyfish for playing music badly* Everybody's a critic. You won't be hearing from me anymore.
