In Brief: SpongeBob and Patrick treat Squidward to his best day ever.

Story: SpongeBob and Patrick are ready to jellyfish but they can't do it without their best friend, Squidward. They invite him to go with them but he denies their request and goes biking instead. While on his bike ride, he encounters a jellyfish, who stings him and causes him to get in an accident.

Squidward, now bandaged up and in a wheelchair, enters his home where he is greeted by SpongeBob and Patrick. They want to give him a 'best day ever'. So, they try giving him soup and playing his clarinet but neither are the best for his best day ever. They saved the best for last...jellyfishing.

At Jellyfish Fields, SpongeBob finds a jellyfish for Squidward to catch but Squidward doesn't want to. So, SpongeBob and Patrick try to teach him how to jellyfish but they don't have any good luck of their own because they get stung by the jellyfish, and so does Squidward. This does not please Squidward and sends him after the jellyfish that stung him on his nose. He successfully captures the jellyfish but there is an even bigger jellyfish, the daddy, that lurks above Squidward. He tries to get away from it but the giant jellyfish zaps him and sends him to the hospital.

On his way back, SpongeBob and Patrick are in front of Squidward's house, asking him about his best day ever yesterday. They show him the jellyfish from yesterday that they caught and give it to Squidward. SpongeBob asks if he is still mad and Squidward releases the jellyfish after both of them. As he is laughing, the giant jellyfish hovers over Squidward and zaps him again.

SpongeBob: Hey Patrick, Squid’s home! And we’re gonna make sure he’s greeted by his two best friends!

Patrick: Oh, great. Who are they?

SpongeBob: Us! *hangs up* Let's go!

Observations:

Rope When SpongeBob and Patrick slide down the rope and get a rope burn, the rope disappears.

No spots The jellyfish that sting SpongeBob and Patrick have no spots on them.

That's No King There have only been two giant jellyfish in the whole series. The giant jellyfish in this episode is pink and there is no crown on his head. The jellyfish in "I'm Your Biggest Fanatic" is purple and wears a crown and robe.
