In Brief: Plankton disguises himself as a robot resembling Mr. Krabs to fool SpongeBob into giving him the Krabby Patty formula.

Story: One day, Plankton sneaks into the Krusty Krab as a robot. He tells SpongeBob that he'll win a million dollars if he tells him the secret formula for a Krabby Patty. However, SpongeBob tells him the formula can only be discussed with Mr. Krabs. Plankton comes out of the robot and Mr. Krabs blows him back to the Chum Bucket through a straw.

Later, a customer says he wonders what's in the Krabby Patty secret formula. Thinking it's Plankton in disguise, SpongeBob rips the guy's head off, but it's really just a guy wearing a fake head. Mr. Krabs tells Sponge that the secret formula is safe as long as it's only discussed with the boss.

Mr. Krabs makes Squidward take inventory of every item in the storage room. Plankton sneaks inside the room disguised as a robot resembling Mr. Krabs and tells Squid he can take the day off. When SpongeBob comes in, Plankton tries to talk to him, but Mr. Krabs comes in and interrupts twice. Needing to get rid of Krabs, Plankton distracts him by throwing a penny that rolls down the street, causing Krabs to run after it.

Now with Mr. Krabs out of the way, Plankton, in the robot, tries to discuss the formula with SpongeBob, but they have to do the "secret handshake" first: stand on one foot, balance a glass of chocolate milk on their heads, and sing the Bikini Bottom anthem. They also have to do six-and-a-half hours of wacky activities before talking about the formula. When the time comes, SpongeBob hands the bottle containing the formula to Plankton. Mr. Krabs walks in on him giving the bottle to the imposter, and Krabs and Plankton argue about who the real Mr. Krabs is.

To settle things, SpongeBob has a quiz with questions only the real Mr. Krabs could answer. Plankton manages to get two right and Mr. Krabs answers the third wrong. SpongeBob blasts the real Mr. Krabs with tartar sauce into a cart of cheese and rolls him outside. Thinking Plankton is the real Mr. Krabs, he hands him the formula bottle. He also finds a penny on the ground and places it in Krabs's belt, which is really a one-cent self-destruct slot. Plankton rushes to the Chum Bucket and his robot blows up. SpongeBob brings the real Krabs back to the Krusty Krab and confesses for believing he was an imposter.

Quotes:

Plankton: You just have to answer one question. What is the Krabby Patty secret formula?

SpongeBob: *holds up finger and gasps, about to answer*

Plankton: Yes?

SpongeBob: *gasps*

Plankton: *excited* Yes?

SpongeBob: *gasps*

Plankton: *more excited* YES?!

SpongeBob: *very quickly* The Krabby Patty formula is the sole property of the Krusty Krab and is only to be discussed in part or in whole with its creator Mr. Krabs. Duplication to this formula is punishable by law. Restrictions apply, results may vary.

SpongeBob: Don't worry, Mr. Krabs. As long as these pants are square and this sponge is Bob...I will not let you down!

Mr. Krabs: *being held in the air by SpongeBob* Uh, SpongeBob? Could you let me down?

SpongeBob: Sorry, Mr. Krabs. I'm just trying to protect the secret formula.

Mr. Krabs: That's no reason to rip peoples' heads off, boy.

SpongeBob: *after Robot Krabs destroys a trash bag with his eyes* Wo-hoh, Mr. Krabs! I didn't know you had heat vision!

Plankton: *talking about his coin* It looks like an ordinary penny, because it IS an ordinary penny!

Observations:

Weird Eaters When we first see the inside the Krusty Krab, there is someone sucking on his Krabby Patty like a baby bottle and another person licking his patty.

Customer's Drink Mr. Krabs shoots Plankton to the Chum Bucket through a straw that came from a customer's drink labeled "Sha," which likely means "Shake," as in milkshake. The liquid that comes out, however, has no solid ice cream, is dark like cola, and makes a fizz sound.

Cheapskates The Krusty Krab makes you pay for napkins. And on every day but Wednesday, it costs $2.99 just for a Krabby Patty.

Things Seen in the Storage Room:

-A barrel of Chum Sauce

-A sack of Keep Meal

-A barrel labeled Forks

-An anchor

-Ship steering wheels

-Cardboard boxes

-Oars

-A barrel of pickles

-A sack labeled Kelp

Same Voice When SpongeBob has a clothes pin on his nose, his voice doesn't sound different like it does when you plug your nostrils.

Lifesaver Change When the penny rolls into Mr. Krabs's office, there is a lifesaver that's white with red stripes on the door. When Mr. Krabs knocks down the door to chase the coin, the lifesaver is red with white stripes.

Careless Eating When Plankton "eats" the spaghetti in the Mr. Krabs robot, he knocks a candle off the table.

Reappearance The red and green platform Plankton stands on to get in the cannon can be seen in the background later, when SpongeBob holds the tartar sauce hose.

Karen's Voice Karen the computer isn't seen in this episode, but the voice announcing the 10-second self-destruct in the Plankton robot sounds like her's.
