In Brief: When SpongeBob's house gets eaten by nematodes and he can't live with his neighbors, he has to move away to live with his parents.
Story: One morning, a group of hungry nematodes wander around and eat a rock and a car. When they decide they're thirsty, they drink up SpongeBob's pineapple house and everything in it. SpongeBob feels bad that nothing but a pebble is left, while Squidward is very happy that SpongeBob will have to move. When SpongeBob suggests he moves to his parents', Patrick says that they can easily build him a new house. They get to work.
After the house is built, it turns out to be tiny and falls apart. SpongeBob tells Gary that they'll have to move back to his parents' house, but Patrick doesn't like the idea. He tells SpongeBob that he and Gary can come live at his house. SpongeBob happily accepts the offer.
That night at Patrick's house, SpongeBob and Patrick sleep on opposite sides of Pat's rock, laying on the ground and using the rock as a cover. However, th night doesn't go without problems. SpongeBob has to deal with Patrick being loud in his sleep, taking the warm rock away, creating a pond of drool, and smashing him in his sleep when he tries protecting himself from spiders. All of this trouble causes SpongeBob to ask Squidward to take him in and let him sleep in his bed instead. Squidward accepts in his sleep, but when he wakes up and realizes what he did, he throws him and Gary out.
The next morning, Squidward is joyful that SpongeBob is ready to move and live with his parents, while SpongeBob and Patrick are sad. When SpongeBob's parents arrive, he buries the pebble that was left in the ground where the pineapple once stood. A tear from him feeds the seed. Once he's ready, he gets in his parents' boat mobile. Patrick, who's very sad about SpongeBob leaving, gets on the back of their boat and holds them up. Meanwhile, the seed in the ground grows into a tall stalk. The stalk creates a pineapple home and drops it in place. SpongeBob is thrilled that he gets to stay forever, while Squidward is disappointed.

Quotes:
Patrick: Is it time already to ruin Squid's day?
SpongeBob: I've got bad news, guys. Look at what happened to my house! It's gone. It's all gone. What am I gonna do? Where am I gonna live?
Squidward: *happily* Yeah.
Patrick: *eyes pop out in disbelief* Hey SpongeBob, your house is gone!
Patrick: We can build you a new house.
SpongeBob: We can't build a house!
Patrick: Well sure, it's easy. I built my house all by myself. *points to his rock; his TV antenna falls off*
Patrick: *referring to SpongeBob's house the two built* Wish I lived there.
SpongeBob: Really?
Patrick: No.
SpongeBob: Squidward, could we stay here a couple of days or a month or two?
Observations:
Time It is around 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. when the nematodes suck up SpongeBob's house.
Shrinking Stops? When SpongeBob calls Squidward on his phone as his house is shrinking, the walls and room around him do not get smaller.
Different Sizes The lot where SpongeBob's pineapple is looks smaller when the house is gone than when it isn't.
Moving Celebration Squidward also celebrates the fact that SpongeBob is no longer going to be his neighbor with his own party in "Nature Pants."
Gone for Good After Patrick's antenna on his rock falls off after he tells SpongeBob he built his own house, it doesn't appear on the rock again in this episode.
Squid Boxers When Squidward changes in his closet after waking up, he tosses out a pair of boxers that has four leggings.
Remaining Items? Towards the end of the episode, SpongeBob has two bags for luggage and a green cap. When the house was destroyed by nematodes, only the pineapple seed was left.
Same Sound The honk made by Mr. and Mrs. SquarePants' car was made earlier in the episode, when SpongeBob's foghorn alarm was shrinking.
Supper in the Morning Mr. SquarePants tells SpongeBob that dinner is waiting at home right after Squidward wakes up (though he may have meant dinner as in lunch).
Underground Shell There is a seashell underground, above where SpongeBob plants the pineapple seed.
