In Brief: SpongeBob and Patrick enter the medieval times after a jousting incident.
Story: SpongeBob and Patrick are at a medieval showing. Once the king announces that he needs two volunteers for a joust, they raise their hand but they didn't know they would actually be in the joust. Neither of them know how to ride a seahorse so they get bucked and thrown off out of the building. Once they land on the ground, they are soon surrounded by a bunch of knights. Still thinking it's all fake, they are thrown into the dungeon where they meet Squidly.
Squidly is Squidward's great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather. He's the king's fool who is always singing songs about something. After a while, SpongeBob and Patrick are sent to see the king but SpongeBob does not want to go without Squidly. So the guard lets Squidly go with the other two. Once they arrive, Squidly sings a song but soon loses all trust in the king. King Krabs sends all three of them to get executed but Princess Pearl reminds her father about the prophecy of two brave knights falling from the sky and saving them from a one-eyed monster that lives in his castle. King Krabs spares them and sends them on their way to defeat the one-eyed monster named "Planktonamour".
Their first stop is to get weapons and armor from the blacksmith. After they achieve this, they make their way up to Planktonamour's castle when they are stopped by the dark knight. The Dark Knight wants to know who they are and after they do this, she reveals herself to be none other than medieval Sandy. SpongeBob knows how to handle this...with karate. He defeats the dark night with no problems. After the defeat, they come up with an idea on how to get into the castle: the Dark Knight will take them and give them to Planktonamaur, herself, to confuse the guards. It works! SpongeBob heads up to the castle while Dark Knight Sandy unties the rest of the crew.
As they are on top of the castle, they fight a giant jellyfish, which is controlled by Planktonamaur. SpongeBob thinks that the net will work but after seeing that the giant jellyfish breaks it into pieces, he tries to think of something else but can't. So, they get out the krabby patties since they think it's their last meal. The giant jellyfish sees this and steals it away from Patrick. They now know how to tame the savage beast! Planktonamaur has now been defeated and there is a celebration in town for all of this. SpongeBob and Patrick are riding seahorses again and, once again, they are bucked off into the air and back down. But this time they are back to the present time. SpongeBob tells Patrick that was some dream and Patrick says to explain that to Squidly.

SpongeBob: Yeah, you think we fooled them? *Pearl screams* Wait, that’s Pearl. I must fulfill the prophecy while you untie Patrick and the royal doophus.
Squidly: That be royal fool.
SpongeBob Wait, you don’t understand. We’re not from here.
King Krabs: That’s because you’re witches who were sent by Planktonimor to destroy me.
SpongeBob No, we’re time travelers. *King Krabs gets angry* Help me out here, Patrick.
Patrick: I’m not sure that there’s anything I can add at this point.
