In Brief: SpongeBob and Patrick attempt to be entrepreneurs.
Story: SpongeBob is sitting in his mailbox, patiently awaiting for the mailman. When he arrives, he sorts through the mail and finds a magazine he doesn't remember subscribing to. As he and Patrick look through it, Squidward walks up and takes his magazine that he thinks SpongeBob stole. They ask questions about what those people in the magazine are doing and how they got all the money. Squidward tells them they are entrepreneurs and earn their money by selling things. This gets an idea going in SpongeBob and Patricks heads. They will become entrepreneurs so they can be rich. But they first must think of what to sell. Patrick comes up with a chocolate bar and the idea is hatched!
As they head to the first house, Tom, they ask him if he wants to sell chocolate. Tom goes crazy and yells out 'chocolate' a lot and chases them down the road. Later, they reach their second destination, a salesman. The salesman tells them they are mediocre chocolate bar salesman and they need bags so they don't have to carry all those bars with them. They buy a few bags and later go next door, where the same salesman is at. He offers them bigger bags to put their small bags in and they buy a few of the bigger bags. Their next destination is a lady who wants to buy a chocolate bar but as SpongeBob goes through the bags, he keeps taking out a smaller bag, one after another. When he finally reaches the chocolate bar, the door is shut and Tom is back so they run away.
They try being nice to the customers but nothing seems to be working. They try focusing on the customer but Patrick goes too far as he zooms in and out with his eyes on the customer. They can't understand what is going wrong. They look at a buildboard and can't understand how 'Barnacle Chips' can sell millions of bags a day but they are not tasty. So, they start thinking of lying to the customer to get a sale. They arrive at the next house and the door opens to an elderly lady. They ask the elderly lady if her mother is home and she is. To their surprise, its an older worm like lady in a wheelchair. They tell her that if she rubs the chocolate on her body, she'll live forever. This is the official first sale of the day!
They go door to door, lieing, and everything seems to be going fine until they try their best lie yet, being injured. As the door opens to their last stop, it's another injured customer with even more wrappings around him. He explains his story and they buy it. The customer tells him that he's been trying to sell chocolate bars but he can't because of his injuries. So, SpongeBob and Patrick take the bars and sell them, but they are convinced they are failures in life. That's when Tom shows up and scares them but only wants to buy all their chocolate. He gives them a bunch of money and they are now living the fancy life. They wonder how they can spend all the money and they arrive at a restaurant with their dates, the elderly family from before. Squidward arrives at the restaurant but it's already been bought out for a private party.
