In Brief: SpongeBob tries to act like a grown up after being embarrassed by his grandma.

Story: SpongeBob stands on a hill overlooking his grandma's house. He runs towards the house yelling, "Grandma! Grandma! Grandma!" He hugs her and they go in the house. Grandma tells SpongeBob to sit down and she gives him a big plate of cookies. He eats one and then licks the spoon. SpongeBob and Grandma then go into the living room where she tells him a story about when he was a baby. The clock chimes at 3:00. SpongeBob says he's gonna be late to work and asks Grandma for a ride. She drops him off at the Krusty Krab and SpongeBob gives her a kiss before she leaves.

Squidward, who is washing the windows, sees the whole thing. He holds the door open for SpongeBob and all the customers start to laugh. He thinks they're just in a good mood, but Squidward tells SpongeBob they are laughing at him. SpongeBob has a lipstick mark on his forehead from his grandma. He tries to rub it, but it won't come off. Everybody laughs at him and SpongeBob runs away crying.

Back at home SpongeBob tells Patrick what happened. He tells SpongeBob that he can't act like a baby around his grandma anymore. SpongeBob and Patrick put on sideburns and go to Grandma's house. They knock on the door. When she answers it she tries to kiss SpongeBob, but he puts on a helmet to block it. In a mature voice, SpongeBob tells her the kissing has to stop and that he has grown up. Grandma says that he is right and she won't treat him like a baby anymore. Patrick and Grandma go in the house. SpongeBob looks through the window and sees that Patrick is eating Grandma's cookies and even wearing a cookie eating hat.

SpongeBob knocks on the door and asks to talk to Patrick. He tells Patrick that they are supposed to be acting like adults. Patrick says he loves being a baby. Grandma brings on more cookies and Patrick starts to eat them. One rolls over to SpongeBob he tries to grab it, but Grandma takes it away and gives him steamed coral instead. Grandma then takes Patrick in the living room for story time. She tells SpongeBob he won't be interested in this baby book and gives him the manual for routine active maintenance. SpongeBob gets even more jealous after Grandma kisses Patrick's finger after he accidently bites it and gives him a sweater she knitted. Grandma tells Patrick it's time for his nap and she says it's time for SpongeBob to go to work. He says he doesn't have to be at work yet. She tells him that wouldn't be the adult thing to do. SpongeBob hesitates but finally leaves. He slowly closes the door and then throws it back open. He crys and whines and tells Grandma he wants to be a baby. Grandma calms him down and explains to SpongeBob that he can kiss her and still be an adult. Grandma hands SpongeBob a cookie and his sideburns. He asks her not to mention this to the guys down at the Krusty Krab, but unfortunately they've been watching the whole thing through the window.

Quotes:

Customer: Hey! Hey, Grandma’s boy! Kissy kissy kissy!

SpongeBob: No! You’re wrong! There’s nothing wrong with getting kisses from your grandma!

Customer: No, especially if you’re a big baby who wears diapers, and… and sucks his thumb, and plays with dolls, and… um…wears pajamas with feet in ‘em, and carries his… um… blankie around… and…

Group: Alright already!

Patrick: What’re you gonna tell Grandma?

SpongeBob: I’m a grownup!

Patrick: No ifs, ands, or buts about it!

SpongeBob: A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.

Patrick: And then you get behind her and I’ll push.

SpongeBob: Patrick, we didn't say that.

Patrick: Oh yeah. Right
